Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition includes custom luggage and a watch

We all know that British secret agents prefer to drive expensive cars like the Aston Martin. Aston has been the car of choice for James Bond for years, even if he did occasionally stray to Lotus or BMW. Aston Martin is very proud of the ties it has with the Bond franchise and has announced a new limited edition Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition car.

Only 150 units will be made and sold around the world. The Bond Edition DB9 GT starts life as a standard DB9 GT, just like the one we talked about back in June. The difference between that standard DB9 GT and the Bond car is that the Bond version has a special silver paint called Spectre to celebrate the film of the same name launching this fall.

Aston fits the Bond Edition with special trim on the inside of the car including a Bond edition plaque on the sill. The car also comes with a special Omega watch, the preferred brand of Bond. The car also includes a special custom set of luggage.

Power comes from the standard 540hp V12 engine mated to a Touchtronic II 6-speed transmission. The normal DB9 GT can reach 62mph in 4.5 seconds, the Bond edition should do the same.
