Amazon Event Won't Have Livestream, But We'll Be There!
Anxious to see the Amazon Phone launch tomorrow? As the world waits to see what the device will look like, Amazon as decided to forgo the livestreaming routine. Unlike they do with the Kindle tablets and Fire TV, Amazon will make this one a fairly private affair.
Luckily, SlashGear will have a crew at the event to get all the pics and info possible. As the device is announced, we'll be posting articles to let you know just what's what with the new Amazon device.
What we're expecting is a smartphone, with some sort of tricky screen. Rumors point to a 3D display, and a recent video helped antagonize those rumors, but the truth is nobody knows just what will go on. Amazon could release a small tablet for all we know!
We've got little to go on, really. Amazon has played their hand close to the chest on this one. They have guarded the phone specs pretty well, considering we don't know the processor, screen size, or any other major specs for the device.
The event starts at 10:30 a.m. PST, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled starting then. We've got a long list of items to look for (pricing, AT&T exclusivity, etc.), and we plan to find out everything we can and relate it back to you!
