ALIEN And ALIENS Return To Theaters This Summer
This summer both ALIEN and ALIENS will be returning to the big screen, appearing in theaters in over 20 cities. On the 26th of April, "ALIEN DAY" both ALIEN and ALIENS will be shown as a double-feature in celebration of the return of the ALIEN series. The date this feature presentation comes to theaters corresponds with the original planet designation of the origin of the creatures seen in the first two films: LV-426.
This release will be handled by the Alamo Drafthouse in partnership with Mondo and 20th Century Fox. They'll be bringing not only the two films to theaters, but "exclusive collectibles, customized video preshows before and between each feature, and all sorts of additional Xenomorph insanity at each location."
At the Drafthouse Cinema you'll find a list of theaters – also presented below. These theaters will host the double-feature on 4/26 (2016).

TICKETS will be going on sale as early as tomorrow – check in with your local theater to see what they'll be doing to make it happen.
Fast forward to August of 2017 we'll also see the likes of ALIEN: Covenant, a film that takes place after Prometheus and exists within the ALIEN timeline. This film will be directed by Ridley Scott and will star Michael Fassbender – no word on what happened to his partner from the end of Prometheus, we do not know!
