alicell review LG's KE820 compact cellphone

I do enjoy reading strange translations of foreign-language reviews; for instance, Google has decided that alicell's opening line in their review of the LG KE820 cellphone is an accusation that "You keep strong boys", something I've been cleared of in a court of law on several occasions.  Still, the rest of it is readable, albeit with a little lateral thinking applied, and at the end of the day it's my fault for not reading Italian!

Finding the 9.9mm phone to be reassuringly sturdy and capable of withstanding the "light test of torsion" they apply to it, alicell highlight a lack of off-centre viewing of the screen and the tricky positioning of the 0 key off to the side.  Still, it was made up for with a full-featured mp3 player supporting a wide range of formats and features, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth with the stereo A2DP profile, as well as a reasonable camera.  Curiously, the KE820 insists on recording video direct to its own 128mb of internal memory rather than to the microSD card, limiting it in alicell's experience to just four minutes length.

Overall they rate it 8 out of 10, praising the reception, battery life (100hrs standby) and – perhaps most importantly – the positive response it got when seen by others.
