Acer Aspire S 13 revealed with thin balance

This week the folks at Acer have announced their newest in a series of Aspire S notebooks, all of which are thin. This device works with a 13-inch Full HD display with optional touchscreen capabilities. as well as a 6th Generation Intel Core processor inside. This notebook has a cool 8 GB of LPDDR3 system memory as well, so you won't be wanting for bits to call upon.

This notebook measures in at 327W x 228D x 14.58H mm (0.57 inches) and weighing 1.30 kg (2.86 pounds). It's small! Despite its thinness, this notebook works with a USB 3.1 Type-C reversible ports and a USB 3.0 port (which supports "power-off charging" for mobile devices). You'll be able to connect wirelessly to the web with 802.11ac Wi-fi in a big way 2x2 MU-MIMO (Multi-User MIMO) for up to three times faster performance over single-user MIMO 802.11ac – so says Acer.

Acer Aspire S 13 will be available in multiple colors – as it well should be. It'll come in any color you like, just so long as it's Obsidian Black or Pearl White. You'll find what Acer describes as an "immaculate chassis featuring a sleek chamfer diamond-cut on the edges and the touchpad, with Acer nano-imprint patterning on the top cover and a blend of premium finishes."

The Acer Aspire S 13 will be available in North America in a few weeks, starting in May with prices starting at $699 USD. You'll find this notebook in EMEA this month (April) with prices starting at €699, while China will also get the device in May with prices starting at ¥5,499.
