4GEE Capture Cam is tiny wearable 4G action cam

Earlier this year, EE launched a small action camera, and now it has followed it up with a new model, the "wearable" 4GEE Capture Cam. This latest camera is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and comes with a clip for affixing it to your belt. Whether you consider that truly wearable is up to you, but regardless, the camera is notable for a big reason: it streams content over 4G.

This camera is similar to the previous 4GEE Action Cam, but with updated features. The camera measures in at 55mm across with a square design and total light weight of about 90 grams. The camera works with EE's 4G mobile network, allowing subscribers to stream the video directly from the camera to whomever wants to watch. It works with the Capture Cam Android and iOS apps.

The camera also comes with integrated 4GB of storage space, and there's a media card slot for expanding that up to 64GB. Capture Cam has an 8 megapixel sensor able to live stream at 720p HD at 30fps or at 480p/30fps.

That makes it a little less capable than the first 4GEE camera, which could live stream at resolutions up to 1080p. When the camera will be available isn't clear, though it should be arriving for EE subscribers before this upcoming Christmas. The price isn't clear, either, though if it is launched the same as last, it'll come with both upfront rates and monthly rates.
