2019 Honda Passport hits dealers February 4 starting at $33,035

The SUV is one of the most popular vehicle types out there for many buyers. Honda has announced that the all-new 2019 Passport SUV will land on dealer showrooms today, February 4, 2019. Along with announcing the official date shoppers can go down to their local Honda dealer and buy a new Passport, Honda has also announced pricing.

The 2019 Passport isn't exactly a budget SUV, the base model Passport Sport 2WD will start at $33,035 including the destination charge. That vehicle is rated for 20 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The Passport Sport with the optional iVTM4 torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system starts at $34,935 including the destination charge.

The next step up the ladder is the Passport EX-L 2WD at $37,455 with the AWD version selling for $39,355. The Passport Touring 2WD starts at $40,325, while the AWD version is $42,225. The top of the line Passport Elite is offered in AWD only and sells for $44,725.

All Passport models use a 9-speed automatic transmission. The entire range can tow 5,000 pounds and offers standard Honda Sensing safety tech. Honda built the new Passport to offer comfort on and off-road. The standard engine for all Passport models is a 280hp V6.

Passport is built on the Honda Global Light Truck platform. Tech available on some models includes 4G LTE, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
