2019 Audi A6 Avant Gallery

Audi knows how to make a good-looking station-wagon, and the 2019 A6 Avant is an excellent reminder of that fact. The car – "Avant" being Audi's preferred branding for its wagons – takes the A6 sedan and gives it even more practicality. Along the way, it does only good things for the car's overall design.

The extra space in the rear pays dividends for practicality. Rear seats up, you get a healthy 20 cubic feet of capacity. Drop the 40:20:40 split rear seat-backs down, however, and that expands to 59.3 cubic feet. That's almost as much as an Audi S5 SUV.

The rest of the cabin gets the same technology as the A6 sedan, with twin touchscreens embedded in the dashboard, integrated 4G LTE, and a smarter voice-recognition system that uses cloud processing to understand naturally-phrased requests. Five different trim packages are on offer, including an S line sport version. Now we just have to cross our fingers that Audi brings the new A6 Avant to the US.
