2016 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate is a luxury truck

GMC has unveiled its latest full-size premium truck in pictures ahead of the official debut of the truck at the LA Auto Show. The truck is called the 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate. The Ultimate version is based on the normal Sierra Denali and is intended to give GMC more of the premium truck market where it already owns 15.5%.

The 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate is only offered on the four-wheel drive 1500 crew cab model with a 5'8" or 6'6" cargo bed. The truck has 22-inch wheels with chrome or black inserts, standard sunroof, chrome tow hooks, and lots of standard tech inside.

That standard tech includes tri-mode power steps that are able to move into the forward section of the cargo bed. The truck is also fitted with Lane Keep Assist and IntelliBeam automatic headlamps standard. Power comes from an available 6.2L V8 and 8-speed automatic transmission; standard power is a 5.2L V8 with Hydra-Matic 8L90 8-speed automatic.

Sierra Denali Ultimate comes standard with a trailer brake controller and has magnetic ride control suspension. Body color bumpers, chrome exhaust tips, and unique interior trim round out the special touches. The truck comes with a spray-on bed liner. OnStar and a WiFi hotspot are included along with remote start, remote keyless entry, power adjustable pedals, and a rear-view camera. The truck will hit dealerships in early 2016 at an undisclosed price.
