2015 Chevy Camaro Commemorative edition unveiled

SEMA has kicked off in Las Vegas and Chevrolet has unveiled a new special edition Camaro at the show. The 2015 Camaro Commemorative edition is the latest special edition muscle car from Chevrolet and it will be available as an option package on 2015 2LT and 2SS coupes and convertibles. Chevrolet says that the new special edition marks the final year for the fifth generation Camaro and it will go on sale this spring. Commemorative edition Camaros include the RS package.

On the outside, the Commemorative edition cars have unique 20-inch wheels, exclusive stripes, a body color front splitter, ZL1 rear spoiler, and Commemorative edition fender emblems. Five different color options are available for the Commemorative edition cars including Black with Cyber Gray stripe, Silver Ice Metallic with Cyber Gray stripe, Summit White with silver stripe, Ashen Gray Metallic with silver stripe and Red Hot with black stripe.

SS models also get a body-color hood insert. A new interior color is available only on Commemorative edition cars featuring adrenaline red and black leather seats, an adrenaline red instrument panel insert, and red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, shift boot, door trim arrest, and center console lid.

The steering wheel is also leather wrapped and flat-bottomed and the cars all get Commemorative Edition sill plates. Pricing on the special edition cars is unannounced at this time. Chevy also notes that over 400,000 fifth generation Camaros have been sold since the car was introduced in 2009 making it the best selling performance car for four consecutive years.
