Xbox One gets a $50 holiday price cut and a big sale on games

With the holiday season come the inevitable sales. Black Friday and the following week traditionally have some of the best sales of the season, but it's always good to keep your eyes open all the way through the end of the year. For those that didn't get in on Microsoft's Black Friday deals, they've got a nice little surprise in store.

If you missed out on what Microsoft offered up last month, the company knocked $50 off of the price of Xbox One bundles. Well, the deal has returned, and it's one that you're not going to be able to beat. The discount applies to all Xbox One bundles, both big and small. Yes, that means you'll be able to find bundles starting at $299, and even the coveted Elite Bundle with a 1TB SSD and the new Elite controller for just $449.

The deal is currently going on, and extends all the way through December 26th. That's right, if you want to brave the after-Christmas rush, you can return any duplicate gifts (or maybe ones that you weren't so fond of), and still get a discount on an Xbox One.

Major Nelson also announced their Countdown Sale, which will run from December 22 to Jan 7. The sale will 200 deals on "the greatest games lineup in Xbox history." There will be a variety of weekly and daily deals, so you'll have to keep checking in on the Countdown Sale page to stay on top of them.
