VSCO Releases New 'Eclectic Films' Collection For Adobe Products

VSCO, the company behind the popular camera app available for both iOS and Android, has released its latest collection of films for Adobe products, and it is called "VSCO FILM 07". The collection is comprised of several new filters, and VSCO has dubbed them the "Eclectic Films", basing them upon a variety of different films few modern photography enthusiasts are likely to ever use. These are more subtle than the filters many expect to find in such products, though those familiar with VSCO will find them in line with the typical offerings.

The new FILM 07 collection is available for Adobe Lightroom CC, 6, 5, and 4, bringing with it 18 films that comprise a total of 100 presets for the software. Says VSCO, the films will work particularly well for night images, portraits, and architectural subjects.

Many different types of film are included in the set from familiar makers, lending their various effects to digital photos. The list includes:

The film collection also brings with it camera profiles for several models including, says VSCO: Canon T6i, Canon T6s, Fuji X-A2, Fuji X-Q2, Nikon D5500, Nikon D7200, Olympus M5 MKii, and the Sony A7M2. The company cautions that the films work best with digital photos in RAW form, though it'll do well enough with JPEGs, too. The collection is available now and presently reduced to $89.25 USD.
