Verizon Ellipsis Jetpack mobile hotspot now available

Keeping your devices connected to the internet on the go can be hard to do if you aren't in an area with WiFi connectivity. If your devices lack onboard LTE, your only option is a smartphone that can share a data plan or a hotspot device that can give access by creating its own WiFi network. Verizon has rolled out a new hotspot that will do the job called the Ellipsis Jetpack MHS800L.

The new mobile hotspot can connect up to eight devices to the Verizon 4G LTE network. Inside the hotspot is a battery allowing it to be used on the go for up to ten hours per charge. The Ellipsis Jetpack is also XLTE ready supporting faster speeds when in areas where the service is available.

The Ellipsis Jetpack is available online at Verizon now for 99 cents with a two-year activation agreement. It will be offered in Verizon stores in the coming weeks. The hotspot can be added to an existing MORE Everything account for another $20 per month.

The hotspot has a small 0.9-inch OLED display that shows signal strength, battery life, and data use. It supports 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and is VPN capable. The hotspot measures 3.07" x 2.20" x 0.49" and weighs 2.9 ounces.
