Tonight's PlayStation State of Play just got an Inside Xbox chaser

Later today, Sony is set to go live with its latest State of Play broadcast. Not willing to let Sony enjoy all the spotlight itself, Microsoft has announced that it too will be hosting a livestream tonight. The latest episode of Inside Xbox is set to premiere shortly after Sony's State of Play, so it's a pretty exciting day for console fans.

Unlike Sony, which didn't tell us what to expect from today's State of Play, Microsoft has actually told us what tonight's show will cover. The tweet you see below details some of the games and services that will be covered in this new episode of Inside Xbox, with new information about Project xCloud on the agenda.

Project xCloud is Microsoft's upcoming game streaming service, and though the company has talked about it in a broad sense before, there are still plenty of details that are unclear. Hopefully by the time this latest episode of Inside Xbox has wrapped up, we'll know more about when Microsoft plans to begin Project xCloud public testing.

Other topics on the docket tonight include The Outer Worlds, the upcoming RPG from Obsidian, which joined Xbox Game Studios back at E3 2019. There will also be new information about Xbox Game Pass, so maybe we'll learn about some new big-name titles that are soon heading to the service.

Aside from those big three topics, we'll also hear more about Atlas, CodeVein, Afterparty, Felix the Reaper, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and finally, X019 London. It sounds like it'll be a packed show, and it'll be streamed today beginning at 3 PM PT. You can watch by clicking on the Mixer link in the tweet or via the YouTube livestream embedded above.
