The app is designed to make it easier to access music on all Tizen devices, including smartwatches and other wearables that run the OS. Tizen users will be able to use the music app to get access to the 25 million tracks that 7digital offers.

Pricing for music via the Tizen app will be the same as pricing for albums and individual tracks on the 7digital website and via the firms other apps. Tizen users will have functionality within the app similar to what users on other platforms get.

Global availability of the app is set for Q2 2014 and apps with localized features will be offered. Along with localization, major music label catalogs will be available as well in over 10 territories. 7digital also announced a new advertising and content partnership that will enable radio-style streaming with leading firms in audio advertising including San Francisco-based AdsWizz.
