Super Smash Bros Ultimate is arguably the biggest Switch release of the year, and Nintendo of Japan has plans to celebrate in a big way. The company is planning to offer a limited edition amiibo box that features every Super Smash Bros amiibo released to date. If you're one of the people who keeps up with amiibo releases, then you know that's a ton of figures.

More specifically, there are a whopping 63 amiibo included in this box, including Ridley, King K. Rool, and Piranha Plant – three of the new fighters debuting in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The Dairantou Smash Bros. Series 63 amiibo Set, as it's called, will go up for sale on Amazon Japan at 6 PM JST on December 7.

The boxed amiibo set is already up on Amazon Japan and was first discovered by Japanese Nintendo. For the moment, this set doesn't have a confirmed price, but considering that each amiibo usually costs around $10, we can probably expect it to be super expensive.

In addition to likely being super expensive, it also sounds like it's going to be very hard to get. Japanese Nintendo says that only 50 of these boxed sets will be offered, so even if you have the cash to drop on this, you may have an exceedingly hard time actually buying one. So far, this seems to be a Japan-only product too, and though it's hard to imagine Nintendo bringing this to other regions, stranger things have indeed happened.

We'll see what happens from here – and keep our fingers crossed for a US release (however unlikely that might be) – but for now, head down to the comments section and tell us if you'd pick up one of these ridiculous amiibo boxes.
