These two cases make your iPhone the ultimate toolbox
Your iPhone can do a lot, but it has limitations. What if it could be a phone and a leatherman tool, though? Tasklab has made that possible, bringing a bevy of tools to your favorite device.
The TaskOne case for the iPhone 5 and 5S might be the first case to actually make the toolbox oblsolete. Saws, screwdrivers — even a wire stripper is built right in. Handy for those times you're tooling around the house looking for projects you need to finish up on, the TaskOne is a really neat case for a very niche market.
For $99.95, you get a case that does it all. There are a few add-ons, too. A USB charger, 5400mAh battery pack and headphone jack extender are all on offer as well. You can even use the case as a kickstand.
If you don't want to go full-on McGuyver, but still want some tools at your disposal, the MyTask case might be what you're looking for. Rather than a slew of fold or slide-out tools, the MyTask case holds are your stuff in a sli drawer under the bottom. All your tools tuck neatly into a padded form, so you've not got things just rattling around.
For $69.95, the MyTask is less spendy, but almost as useful. Both are available now via the Tasklab site. Of course, you'll still be able to look up how-to videos for using the tools, too.
