The Evil Within DLC pack drops in March

Bethesda's horror game The Evil Within will be receiving its first DLC next month, and it is dubbed "The Assignment". Bethesda Softworks released the DLC's trailer on Wednesday, and during it we get a look at Juli Kidman, partner to Sebastian. Those who have played the game and found her mysteries to be enticing should be excited, then, because Bethesda and Tango have decided to give gamers exactly what they want: answers. Gamers will be playing as Kidman, and they'll need to be extra stealthy.

Says Bethesda, "For many that have completed The Evil Within, the mysteries surrounding Sebastian's partner, Juli Kidman, are among the most discussed plotlines in the game." The company went on to say that with "The Assignment" (the first part of Kidman's "DLC adventures", it should be noted), it's going to answer gamers' questions...and introduce some new ones.

In "The Assignment", gamers will be playing as Kidman, and they'll progress through a series of stealthy gameplay to find out how she's connected to Mobius and what has happened to her. You won't get all the answers in this DLC pack, however — you'll need to wait for it all to be wrapped up with "The Consequence", which will drop this spring.

The Assignment will be released on March 10 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. A separate purchase option will be available at $9.99. On March 6 ahead of the launch, Bethesda will be showing off gameplay via its Twitch account, as well. Be sure to check out the trailer above for more details!
