Takes app turns photos into video on the iPhone
If you're one of the hordes of people who enjoy taking video to share using your iPhone, a new app is available on the App Store right now called Takes. The app promises to take your photos and turn them into videos with music from its own pre-defined library or your personal music collection. The videos can then be shared like any other video.
The company behind the app says that with Takes users can capture an image using the app and then easily turn multiple images into a video clip while preserving the original photos. The app creates a montage-style video. Music options for the application are powered by the Takes Music Engine.
The music engine promises to match the song you choose to the tempo and length of the video automatically. That means that the music will automatically match up with the length of your video clip depending on the number of photos you use. Videos can be shared with other Takes users and shared via social networks.
The app supports sharing via Facebook and twitter as well as e-mail. Users can also view other videos that friends have taken using the Takes app and the application tracks how many people have watched your videos. The app is available at no cost on the App Store for the iPhone.
