Galaxy S6: what we’ve heard (and want to see) ahead of MWC 2015

Now that we’ve had a good look at what the Galaxy S6 from Samsung might end up looking like, we’re starting to wonder what the device will be as a whole. Is it really going to have those ultra-slim bezels we saw in the leaked pic, or was that a really good fake? Do the benchmarks hint at the real internals, or just some basic test specs? We don’t know, and likely won’t until MWC when Samsung is expected to roll the phone out, but it’s looking good, Samsung fans.

HTC Hima details leaked: replacing the One

The HTC Hima's details have been leaked this morning by a notoriously accurate leakster by the name of "Upleaks", and the device is said to be coming by March of 2015 - and likely introduced either immediately before or during Mobile World Congress 2015. If past events are any indication, we might well see this device introduced in the first couple of months in 2015 then shown off at MWC 2015 while HTC Desire devices are revealed anew. Also, the word "Hima" is a code-name, not a final name.

Tenna strikes again, releasing information about the Galaxy A7 before Samsung can officially announce the device on its own. This is Samsung's thinnest smartphone - the thinnest phone they've ever made, that is to say - and it may be pushing clues as to what the Samsung Galaxy S6 might have in store. Metal, for starters - metal-rimmed, not unlike the Galaxy Note 4 - and a body that's 6.3mm thin. Are these the sort of features that'd bring you back into the Samsung fold for 2015?

HTC One M9 details tipped to dump the UltraPixel

It may be time for HTC to get rid of the UltraPixel name - and the technology - if today's anonymous sources are to be believed. The rest of the specifications shared this afternoon aren't all that difficult to believe. Just boosts in resolution, screen size, and processor power. The big difference here is in the change in camera - which anyone could have predicted, really. We're crossing our fingers that HTC has something more exiting planned than what basically amounts to a generational kick in the pants.
