T-Mobile USA selling Galaxy S III from June 21st

Didn't think T-Mobile were just going to let Verizon have all the fun, did you? Big Magenta has also laid out its pre-order plans for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The phone will be made available for pre-order shortly, with a sign-up page thrown up on T-Mobile's site for now. The handset will officially go on sale on June 21st, and although no pricing details were given in the press release, the cost is said to be $199.99 for the 16GB model.

Otherwise this is pretty much the same phone as you already know and love. T-Mobile's version won't feature LTE connectivity, however, instead settling for HSPA+ speeds of up to 42Mbit/s. Even then, the phone will feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5Ghz processor that everyone else is getting. If you want quad-core goodness on a HSPA+ network, you'll have to import the international model.

A 32GB model will also be made available, and of course there's a microSD card slot for support up to 64GB cards – storage is one thing you won't be lacking. The specs and design of the T-Mobile Galaxy S III are otherwise identical to the other US carriers. Head on over to T-Mobile's site to sign up to receiving more information when it's made available.
