SuperTalent ShuttleCraft SAS SSD breaks cover

If you ever needed any proof that a bunch of geeks work for SuperTalent, the name of its latest SSD provides all the proof you need. The new SSD is called the ShuttleCraft. I am pretty sure if they used SSDs on the Enterprise, this is what they would be called.

Rather than ferrying away teams to and from a planet, the ShuttleCraft SSD is aimed at enterprise use and attaches to SAS interface and comes in two lines. The ShuttleCraft S uses SLC NAND flash and the ShuttleCraft M uses MLC NAND.

The S series will be offered in 60GB and 120GB capacities. The M series will come in 120GB and 240GB capacities. The SSDs measure 10.5 x 69.85 x 100.2mm and will fit inside most 2.5-inch drive bays. Pricing is unknown.
