Be Sure To Change These 3 Settings After Updating To iOS 17.3
By NADEEM SARWAR
Apple has started the rollout of the iOS 17.3 update, which introduces a handful of new features. However, some of the new tools need to be enabled manually.
Device Protection
The new security feature, Stolen Device Protection, mandates the use of Face ID for sensitive tasks like accessing locally saved passwords.
The purpose of the feature is to minimize the risks of unauthorized access. You can turn it on by entering Settings, Face ID & Passcode, and Stolen Device Protection.
Playlists
iOS 17.3 lets you create collaborative playlists and share them with others who can also add tracks. To enable this feature, go into the Apple Music app.
Tap the Library option, select Playlists, and choose which one you want to share. Tap the three-button menu button, select Collaborate, then tap the Start Collaborating button.
Playlist Sharing
Once you’ve started sharing a playlist, you can send invites to other people without going through the menu options to add new collaborators.
Just tap on the sharing button at the top of the playlist page to generate a new unique QR code or send invite links from the many options available in the Share Sheet.
