Honda has announced a special version of the 2020 Honda Odyssey minivan that celebrates 25 years of Odyssey. The 25th Anniversary Accessory Package will be offered on all 2020 Odyssey trims. Honda has also announced that all Odyssey minivans will come with the 10-speed automatic transmission this year.
The special anniversary package is at dealers as of today and comes with chrome accents, special badges, and available 19-inch wheels. The standard 10-speed transmission features Idle Stop, and for 2020 a new color has been added to the Odyssey palette called Platinum White Pearl.
That new paint color replaces Diamond Pearl that was available last year. Honda notes that the Odyssey has been the most popular minivan in the country since 2010 and that total US sales have exceeded 2.7 million units since it launched. Other tidbits that are offered in the 25th Anniversary package include a chrome roof rack, bodyside moldings, lower door garnish, chrome rear bumper protector, illuminated sill plates with the 25th anniversary logo, and a 25th anniversary key fob.
The 2020 Odyssey will come in LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite trims. The standard engine is a 3.5-liter i-VETC V6 engine that makes 280hp. The base Odyssey LX comes with push-button start, dual USB ports, a multi-angle rearview camera, and automatic climate control.
Odyssey EX adds Honda Sensing driver-assist technologies, blind spot information, and Magic Slide 2nd row seats, power sliding doors, and tri-zone climate control. EX-L gains leather, power moonroof, power tailgate, and three more USB ports, navigation, and rear-seat entertainment system. Touring and elite add LED headlights, hotspot, HondaVac, CabinWatch monitor, hands-free tailgate, and more. Pricing starts at $31,785 and the 25th anniversary package adds $1,500, or $2,800 with the 19-inch wheels.
