Sony's Xperia E4 available for UK pre-orders

When it was announced, Sony's Xperia E4 wasn't quite what we were expecting from Sony. After announcing they'd be dedicating themselves to flagship offerings, a decidedly mid-range phone was a shock to the system. Still, the E4 will find favor with many smartphone users, and the low price point might have Sony's latest in more hands than their flagship Xperia devices. With big promises like two-day battery life and a pretty respectable spec sheet, UK fans can now pre-order an Xperia E4 via Clove.

The newest smartphone from Sony Mobile is expected to get a full release party at Mobile World Congress in early March, though don't expect a lot of fanfare. Sony isn't holding a press conference this year — they're simply giving the press early access to their booth on day one.

Via Clove, the Xperia E4 is expected to ship in late March. The £99.50 price also doesn't reflect the 'official price' from Sony, according to Clove. If that's anything less than the official price, we'd assume Clove would ask those who pre-order to pony up the difference.

It's still not entirely clear where the Xperia E4 will end up, but at $150, it would make a nice competitor device to Motorola's Moto E stateside and elsewhere. The dual-SIM device comes in both black and white. If you're interested in pre-orders via Clove, check out our full post on the Xperia E4 from when it was announced last week for more details.
