Xperia Z5 Premium lands in pink color

Sony has announced a new color is available for fans of the Xperia Z5 Premium to purchase. The device is now available in pink and other than the new color; the smartphone is exactly the same as versions already available. Under the hood, the pink X5 Premium has a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. It will be available in selected countries only.

The 5.5-inch screen used on the Z5 Premium has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, meaning it supports 4K content. The smartphone also has a high-end camera inside with 23MP resolution and a 24mm wide-angle Sony G Lens. The camera also features a 1/2.3-inch image sensor and ISO 12800 sensitivity. The autofocus can focus on a subject in 0.03 second making snapping pictures on the fly easier.

Sony also made the Z5 Premium IP65/68 dust and water-resistant. The Snapdragon processor is paired with 3GB of RAM and the smartphone has 32GB of internal storage. Internal storage can be expanded with microSD cards up to 200GB.

Although the OS out of the box is Android 5.1, it has been updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in most of the regions. Z5 Premium users also get Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and a microUSB charge port. A fingerprint sensor is integrated and Sony equips the phone with xLOUD and Clear Bass technology.
