SlashGear Is Zuned In, Are You?
Zune, there are countless opinions floating around. My recommendation is for you to get one in your hands (like I did) before passing judgment. Being an iPod user since its conception, I think the Zune kicks ass. Whether it will kick the iPods ass or not, that's up to the consumer to decide. However, for me – it's a winner. The larger screen is refreshing, and the whole idea of sharing is nifty. I'm a sampling guy, who likes to have a taste of everything. So, the ability to send and receive songs and/or images from a friend or even a total stranger on the subway is always welcome. Yes, it's true there's a three day limit on music, but that's enough time for me to decide whether it's worth buying (there's no time limit on shared pictures).
I'm thoroughly impressed with the ease of use. Moving around is easy (you can see this from the video walk through later when they're uploaded). It's lightweight, much smaller than I'd thought and very pocket able.
Which is your favorite color?
My take on this is, stick with your iPod or other media players if you already own one. However, if you're in need of an upgrade, purchase a new media player as gift for someone or for yourself; then give the Zune a serious look. It's worth your while.
Enjoy the images, the videos will be uploaded later tonight or early tomorrow.
Wow check out all those Zunes!
