SBN Tech Android videophone is more like a tablet
A company called SBN Tech will be bringing a new video phone to CES next month that has a lot of features that make it sound more like a tablet than what we would think of as a traditional video phone. The device is the IP Video Phone and it has the Android OS onboard.
Which version of Android the device runs is unknown with the company showing Android 2.x as the OS. The device will support all sorts of features like Skype, email, Think-Free Office apps, Twitter, Facebook, internet radio, Picasa and a lot more.
The video phone has a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and it has a CCD VGA or CMOs sensor camera onboard to allow for two-way video chats at 30fps. It can play HD media and has a SD card slot for storage. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
