This year’s CES is heavily focused on moving the entire household into the digital age. Samsung is also pushing further with the introduction of their new RF4289 Internet connected refrigerator.
The unit will feature an eight-inch WiFi connected display that will not only control basic functions of the refrigerator, but it will also keep you connected with your family and social life. The touchscreen enables the user to check weather, adjust temperature controls, and view Twitter and other social feeds.
The device also features the company’s new Smart Divider that allows you to further customize your drawers to organize food.
This marks Samsung’s continued venture into the world of applications. First with the internet and app enabled TVs and now with this refrigerator, Samsung is truly connected the home in a way we have not yet seen from a single company.
