Samsung Seek slider touchscreen handset lands at Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile is one of the larger pre-paid mobile carriers on the maker and the company offers all manner of handsets to woo those who eschew contracts. Boost has announced that it has landed its first touchscreen smartphone that packs in a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

The phone in question is the Samsung Seek. The handset has a 2.6-inch QVGA screen, a 1.3MP camera, and access to the wireless internet and email. The handset supports all the messaging features you need with IM, text, and more.

The phone is also GPS capable and can use microSD cards up to 32GB. The Seek also has a speakerphone that supports voice recognition. The Seek will land at Boost locations on August 25 for $149.99 and make its way to Sprint stores in September and Target locations in October.
