T-Mobile to launch HSDPA in Europe

T-Mobile Internatioinal, on 15th Feb. announced that customers of T-Mobile in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands will avail a faster mobile internet access, starting form this month. HSPDA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) will be available for user of all three markets. According to Chief Technology Officer, Hamid Hakvana, user will be able to avail a speed of 1.8Mbps in starting and from next year speed will achieve speed between 3.6 and 7.2Mbps, which will be competing with fixed-lined DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) technology. Initially HSPDA card will be available for user for their notebooks, and in third quarter of this year T-mobile will change its HSPDA service in lieu with automatic connectivity and after that users will be able to use this service in their mobile (with 3G technology).
