Roccat Renga stereo gaming headset launches in February

Roccat has taken the wraps off its new Renga stereo headset for gamers. The German manufacturer says its new headset is compatible with PCs and tablets, as well as mobile devices and the PlayStation 4, among other things. The headset is scheduled to launch late next month in the United States and Europe for $49.99 USD (and Euro).

The new Roccat Renga headset features 50mm neodymium drivers in each of the ear cups, with Roccat saying the drivers have been "optimally aligned" for a dynamic and immersive music and audio experience that includes deep bass response and "crisp trebles."

The design itself feature over-ear cups attached to a reinforced housing framework for sturdy construction. The skeletal frame, which is reinforced, is said to have a low weight while remaining durable. Tacked on are a trio of elements designed with comfort in mind.

The headset includes an ergonomic headband and plush cushions on the ear cups, the latter of which are also ventilated to allow air to pass through. Other features include an inline remote control, a rotatable microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack compatible with most audio devices.
