During its event earlier this week, Sony revealed that Capcom is launching a totally remade version of its hit classic game Resident Evil 2. A trailer for the updated title was showcased during the PlayStation event, but now videos of actual gameplay have made their way to the Internet. Ready to see how stunning the "Remake" looks?

The new game, simply called Resident Evil 2 Remake, was revealed on Monday and has been rebuilt from the ground up. Missed the launch trailer? You can watch the full thing in Sony's video below:

The trailer gives us a great look at the upcoming title, but there wasn't any gameplay included. Now that E3 has had a chance to warm up, though, videos of the game in action have started appearing online, and it looks every bit as great as we'd hoped.

The remake will be launching for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019. If you're already in love with it and can't wait to get your own copy, Capcom has launched preorders for the title. As you'd expect, the company is offering some exclusives for those who purchase before launch, namely in-game weapons.

You'll get two handguns, though whether they'll be available at launch isn't clear. The preorders, which are live on Amazon now, cost $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
