When Apple finally launched its overdue HomePods, it premium home speakers with some smarts were criticized for at least two things. Not only were they terribly late to the game, they were also considered too expensive for what little they offered. Since then, Apple has updated the HomePod with additional features that could at least make that $350 price tag worth your while. Now it is offering an even cheaper option for those who don't mind purchasing refurbished products.

Apple is quite known for its refurbished options for those who are willing to give up some things for a cheaper price. Of course, it is popular because of how good these refurbished products are, despite being used, thanks to the company's "rigorous refurbishment process".

If you get a Refurbished HomePod from Apple, you will be able to shave off $50 from the original price tag for a total of $299. While the package only includes the HomePod itself and its documentation, it also comes with a one-year limited warranty. If you want to extend that, the product is still eligible for AppleCare.

Price still too high? You can wait a bit longer and try your luck at grabbing one from Best Buy next week. As part of its Black Friday deals, it is offering a HomePod for only $249.99. That's practically $100 off a brand new, not refurbished, smart speaker. The catch is that the price cut is only valid from November 22 until 24.

November 22 still too far away? Afraid you won't make it before supplies run out? Better be quick on your toes, or fingers, then. B&H Photo Video has the exact same $100 discount in effect right now. In other words, you can grab a $249 HomePod, in Space Gray or White, though the retailer doesn't say when that sweet deal will end.
