Razer Phone 2 listing appears on Amazon ahead of launch
The Razer Phone 2 has appeared on Amazon's Italy website ahead of its official launch. The listing, which has since been removed, included images of the handset, as well as some details about its new features, including the presence of RGB lighting and wireless charging. The phone is scheduled to be officially unveiled later tonight.
The Amazon listing was spotted by GSMArena, which grabbed copies of the images and details before the page was pulled. Based on it, the Razer Phone 2 brings a Chroma RGB logo to the back of the phone, that being configurable by the user. This pairs well with the customizable, colorful lights found on Razer's PC products.
According to the listing, the Razer Phone 2 also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, the same 8GB RAM as the original model, and 64GB of storage. That, sadly, isn't enough for many people, particularly those planning to install a bunch of data-heavy mobile games.
The Amazon listing is said to have detailed a new cooling improvement via the addition of a "unique vapor chamber" for long gaming sessions. There's the inclusion of wireless charging; the battery capacity wasn't revealed by the page, though.
As far as changes go, the Razer Phone 2 was also listed with IP67 water resistance. Finally, the handset was listed with a 5.72-inch LCD display sporting a QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh variable rate. We'll know all of the official details, as well as price, later today during Razer's event.
