Razer Android TV console: gaming for your living room comes this fall
Earlier today at Google I/O, the search giant took the wraps off Android TV, revealing the degree to which it desires a roost in your living room. Android TV includes a gaming slant, and accordingly Razer has announced an upcoming "micro-console" that will facilitate it.
Not much information exists about the console at this point, but what we do know presents what could be a solid addition to one's entertainment system, taking on the likes of Roku's various players and competing set-top boxes.
The so-called micro-console has the distinct Razer design present with its other gear, and as you might imagine given the company's focus, the console will tailor towards gamers, both of the casual and hardcore variety.
In addition to gaming, the unnamed Razer micro console will also allow one to use apps, watch movies and TV shows, and listen to music. It isn't known how much Razer will be charging for its new Android device (it'll be affordable, the company assures), but we do know it'll be arriving this fall.
