Project Fi launches LG and Pixel 2 XL deals: up to $899 credit and more

Project Fi has a couple new deals for customers looking to upgrade their phone or make the switch from their current service provider. Chief among the deals is a chance to get an LG smartphone with a $300 price reduction, though the MVNO is also offering the Pixel 2 XL smartphone with a $250 discount.

Project Fi customers can bring their own phone or purchase one through the company. Assuming you go with the latter option, there's now the chance to get a $250 credit when purchasing a Pixel 2 XL; Google says that trading in a phone could bring the price down to as little as $214.

As well, the company is offering a $200 discount on the Pixel 2 XL device if it is purchased through the Project Fi website and activated within 30 days. This discount will be automatically applied during the checkout process; it'll remain live until August 31 at 11:59PM PDT.

Alternatively, Project Fi is offering up to an $899 service credit for customers who purchase two LG phones — they must be either the LG V35 ThinQ or the LG G7 ThinQ. Each phone has to be activated and both customers must share a Project Fi group plan to get the deal. This offer will also remain valid until August 31 at 11:59PM PDT.

Assuming you only want one device, the carrier is also offering the LG G7 ThinQ for $449 USD instead of $749 USD, and the LG V35 ThinQ for $599 USD instead of $899 USD. As with the others, the device must be activated on Project Fi within 30 days of shipment. Full deal terms are available here.
