Porsche updates Macan line with new options and interiors

Porsche has announced on the heels of the new Macan GTS launch that it is upgrading the entire Macan line with some of the features that the new GTS gets. All Macan models now get the Porsche Communication Management (PCM), the same system found in the Porsche 911. All Macan models can also now be fitted with optional full LED headlights.

A new steering controller makes improved steering feel and improved sportiness. A new raft of interior packages and options are also available as exclusives for the Macan Turbo. The Turbo packages are inspired by the GTS model with available 21-inch wheels from the 911 Turbo. Buyer scan get gloss black trim in key locations like air inlets.

The sports exhaust system on the Turbo now has black exhaust pipes and smoked rear taillights make for a stealthier package. The interior gets Alcantara trim with contrasting stitching in silver or red colors. The Turbo letter in the headrests is in contrasting stitch color as well.

Porsche is also offering new paint colors on all models and the new models will hit dealerships in early 2016. Orders are being taken in Germany with the Macan S starting at 61,143 euros, Macan S Diesel starting at 60,548 euros, Macan GTS at 73,400 euros, and Macan Turbo at 83,753 euros.
