PlayStation Hits re-releases top PS4 games on the cheap

The PlayStation 4 has built up a sizable library of great games over the past five years, and soon, you'll be able to get some of them on the cheap. Sony today announced its new PlayStation Hits line, which include budget-priced re-releases of some of PlayStation 4's bestselling games. It isn't holding back with the first round of PlayStation Hits titles either, as it features a few that many PS4 players would consider to be must-own titles.

Of course, the fact that these are re-releases of bestsellers means that many PlayStation 4 owners have probably already played them, but if you're new to the console, this could be a good way to jump start your library. In all, there will be 15 games in the first round of PlayStation Hits releases. Have a look at all of them in the image below.

Each PlayStation Hits title will only cost $20, or 1/3 the price of a new retail release. Bloodborne, The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, and Metal Gear Solid V are all big names in the world of gaming, and some, such as DOOM, are even relatively recent releases. Then we have family-friendly titles like LittleBigPlanet 3 and Ratchet and Clank, while Street Fighter V offers something for fighting game fans.

Basically, there's a little something for everyone in this initial round up of PlayStation Hits titles. We have a little while to wait until Sony launches PlayStation Hits, as these games will be arriving here in the US on June 28. PlayStation Hits will also be launching in Canada (without DOOM in the lineup), but Sony doesn't give a solid launch date and says that prices will start at $19.99 CAD and range from there.
