A new demo has been released for the upcoming Fantasy Labs title Danger Planet. The third person action adventure game uses a new technology called RadiumSDK which allows global illumination to be added by developers to real-time 3D applications.
Danger Planet is a Lost in Space type game. The main character in the game is Captain Jason Storm who has crashed on an alien planet and runs into variety of obstacles such as robots and monsters in his attempts to get off the island before he becomes a permanent resident.
The tech demo that was recently released shows “how the engine calculates infinite bounces of light in a dynamic environment in which any surface can reflect light, shadow light, and glow.”
