Here are all 20 PlayStation Classic games

Back in September, Sony announced that it will follow in Nintendo's footsteps by launching the PlayStation Classic. Like the NES and SNES Classics that made Nintendo money hand over fist, the PlayStation Classic looks to leverage consumers' nostalgia for the good old days. As you'd expect, the PlayStation Classic is a scaled-down replica of the original PlayStation that comes pre-loaded with a selection of fondly remembered PS1 games.

When Sony revealed the PlayStation Classic, it only announced five of the 20 games that will be on the mini console: Final Fantasy 7, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. Today, the company has revealed the full list of PlayStation Classic games, which you can see below:

Destruction Derby

Final Fantasy 7

Grand Theft Auto

Intelligent Qube

Jumping Flash

Metal Gear Solid

Mr Driller

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

Rayman

Resident Evil Director's Cut

Ridge Racer Type 4

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo

Syphon Filter

Tekken 3

Twisted Metal

Wild Arms

There are definitely some fan favorites on that list, including Twisted Metal, Oddworld, Metal Gear Solid, and the original Grand Theft Auto. There are, however, some marquee franchises that are missing from the list. Tomb Raider and Crash Bandicoot are nowhere to be seen, which certainly seems odd for a device that's all about nostalgia. Personally, I was hoping to see Final Fantasy Tactics, but instead I'll have to settle for getting FF7 as the sole representative of the franchise.

Still, if you've got fond memories of the original PlayStation, the PlayStation Classic might be worth picking up despite those notable absences. The mini console launches on December 3, 2018 for $99.99, which is a bit more expensive than the NES Classic and the SNES Classic. Does the PlayStation Classic's full game list have you excited?
