Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL are back to their Black Friday prices

Google's third-gen Pixels might be one of the best Android phones in the market, depending on who you ask. Butt like any other best Android phones today, they also cost a fortune. That's why some would be buyers patiently wait for holiday deals like Black Friday or Cyber Monday to soften the blow. But if you've missed those days for one reason or another, Google is throwing you another shot at getting the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL at their lowest prices so far. Well, almost their lowest.

Late last year, Google slashed $150 off the smaller Pixel 3 and $200 off the notched Pixel 3 XL. Now for some yet unknown reason, Google is bringing that promo back, though with one catch. While the Pixel 3 is indeed $150 off, the Pixel 3 XL isn't $200 off but just $150 less as well.

That means that the base Pixel 3 phone with 64 GB of storage now costs $649 instead of $799. The Pixel 3 XL, also with 64 GB of internal storage, goes from $899 down to $749. No word on how long that deal will last so now might be the best time to grab one.

But should you? That really depends on what you're after for in an Android experience. The Pixel 3, having been made by Google, are of course the ultimate devices when it comes to a default and vanilla Android experience. Despite still having just one camera, Google continues to impress in the photography department. At least for now.

The most important factor, however, will most likely be the software and the guarantee of software updates far longer than most OEMs. Just for that alone, the $649 or $749 price will be worth it for some.
