Phase Technology preps Premier Collection Loudspeakers for CES 2009
Phase technology unwrapped its Premier Collection speaker series with a pair of PC 9.5 flagship floor-standing and PC Surround II loudspeakers. The premier series employs an In-house and patented 3 layer composite RPF Solid Piston woofer, soft dome tweeter and a proprietary Absolute Phase crossover for minimizing distortion and providing balance throughout the room.
The PC-Surr II surround loudspeaker is a flexible 3-way that includes a switch for selecting between bipolar or dipolar operation for the best soundstage – an ambient (diffused sound) or cohesive sound. Available in high gloss or white finish, the surround unit has thin cabinet with only 5-inch deep.
The PC 9.5 loudspeaker the company finest floor-standing model with a stylized wood cabinet which slopes on the front baffle and features radius sides. The 4-way tower has three 6-inch woofers, one 1.5-inch soft dome midrange and one 1-inch soft dome tweeter in a high gloss black or a cherry finish cabinet.
Speakers specification were not disclosed, the company will showcase these Premier Collection loudspeakers at the coming international CES 2009.

The new PC9.5 tower loudspeaker is a 4-way design with three 6" woofers, a 1.5" soft dome midrange and a 1" soft dome tweeter in a stylized wood cabinet offering radius sides and a sloping front baffle. The PC9.5 is available in a high gloss black or cherry finish. The PC-Surr II surround loudspeaker is a 3-way design in an attractive thin enclosure only 5" deep. The unit's slim design makes it ideal for either on wall or bookshelf placement. The PC Surr II is available in high gloss black or white. Its switchable dipole/bipole design allows the user to select an ambient (diffused sound) or cohesive sound for customizing the listening experience.
