Panasonic Unveils New LCD HDTVs In Japan
Panasonic makes lots of HDTVs here in America and abroad. The company has announced new HDTV addition in Japan to its Vieira series that come in several interesting colors. The set is the TH-L17C10 and it is set for a September 15 release.
The HDTV will be offered in silver clear, white, and pink cocktail colors. The screen of the set is 17-inches, making it smallish but well suited to bedrooms, kitchens, or dorm rooms. Panasonic claims that the little HDTV offers wide viewing angles and a resolution of 1366 x 768 making it good up to 720p.
The set grabs the entry-level mantle for Panasonic and integrates a digital TV tuner along with a single HDMI port and there is a SD card slot for viewing your pics directly from your memory card on the little TV. The set will sell for 65,000 Yen in Japan. There is no word on the set making it to the States at this time.
