Overwatch gets a huge discount in October’s Humble Bundle

If you’ve been thinking about picking up Overwatch, it might be worth checking out Humble Bundle. The hugely popular FPS has been added to the Humble Monthly bundle for October, which means that it’s getting a pretty significant discount. On top of that, you’ll also be getting whatever other games will be in October’s bundle, which is just icing on the cake.

A subscription to Humble Monthly costs $12 a month, so by signing up for October, you’re saving a significant amount off the $40 Blizzard usually asks for Overwatch. The other games in the bundle will be revealed on October 5, but it’s worth pointing out that if you sign up for Humble Monthly today, you won’t need to wait until October begin playing Overwatch. Subscribing unlocks access to Overwatch immediately, so you can dive into the game right away.

If you feel so inclined, you can cancel Humble Monthly after October and only be out $12 for Overwatch and whatever the month’s mystery games are. Humble Bundle says that those who stay subscribed to Humble Monthly through November and December will receive some Overwatch loot boxes on the house, so it might be worth subscribing for a bit longer when you consider that you’ll get some additional games as well.

As with everything that’s sold on Humble Bundle, 5% of your purchase price will be donated to charity. An active subscription to Humble Monthly also gets you a 10% discount on standalone titles purchased through the Humble Store and access to the Humble Trove, which includes 60 DRM-free games you can download and play at your leisure.

So, if you’ve been waiting for a good deal on Overwatch, this is it. Head over to Humble Bundle to pick it up and, if you’re now going to spend the weekend playing Overwatch, good luck out there.
