When the OnePlus 7 Pro launched last month, it came in two different colors: mirror black and nebula blue. Those are both solid color options, but they’re also both a bit on the dark side. Those who want a brighter color scheme to their phones are getting precisely that today, as OnePlus has launched a new almond variant for the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The OnePlus 7 Pro in almond is up for order today in the US and Canada, and though you aren’t paying anything extra for this new color, you also don’t have the configuration options that you do with other models. The almond OnePlus 7 Pro is only available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, putting its price at $699.99.
That combination of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is OnePlus’s standard configuration for the 7 Pro, though it’s worth pointing out that the mirror gray and nebula blue models are available in a range of configurations from 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage all the way up to 12GB of RAM/256GB of storage. Though the phone is available to order today, it seems that shipments aren’t going out right away – the listing for the almond OnePlus 7 Pro says that orders ship within 14 days, while the listings for all of the other models claim to ship within 24 hours.
In this age of $1000+ flagships, the OnePlus 7 Pro has definitely found itself an eager and excited audience. It’s got the spec sheet to challenge those more expensive flagships, with a Snapdragon 855 running the show, a triple camera array on the back, and a 6.67-inch display that’s entirely free of notches thanks to its quirky pop-out camera.
There have been some post-launch bumps in the road, but if those aren’t enough dissuade you, you can now get the phone in a pleasant gold shade. We’ll undoubtedly see more variants of the OnePlus 7 Pro launch in the coming months, but for now, those who want to pick up the almond variant can do so by heading over to the OnePlus 7 Pro website.
