Nubia Z11 mini S gets official with 23MP rear camera

The nubia z11 mini S smartphone has gone official and it has some very cool features packed inside a device that really isn't small as the mini name would imply. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch screen with full HD resolution. It comes in three colors including khaki, champagne, and alloy. I think most of us would call those colors gray, black, and gold.

No matter what you call the colors, the smartphone has an aircraft-grade aluminum body. Inside The device hides a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core 64-bit processor. That SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded with microSD card. One of the big features on the smartphone is the camera with a Sony IMX318 image sensor. That sensor has 23MP resolution and is a CMOS 1/2.6", F/2.0, FDAF 0.1, and a 6P lens.

The front camera should take some very nice selfies with 13MP resolution. The device supports LTE + W and LTE + C networks and VoLTE. Power comes from a 3000mAh internal battery that uses NeoPower 2.0 technology. The manufacturer claims that the internal battery is good for up to 3.51 days of use per charge.

A fingerprint sensor is on the rear of the device and claims to need only 0.1 seconds to wake the smartphone up. That sensor supports Alipay WeChat fingerprint payments a well. Other features include WiFi with 5GHz and 2.4GHz network support, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS, and the smartphone runs Nubia UI 4. It also features a USB Type-C port. Pricing and availability will be announced later.
