Nintendo Wii shortage finally over

It seems like as far back as I can remember, there have never been enough Wiis. But now, Nintendo has finally caught up with the demand–even though they didn't do much to catch up in the first place–and the dreaded Wii shortage is no more.

So, if you still have an interest in getting your hands on a Wii, it should be fairly easy. Well, if you have the extra money sitting around, that is. According to Bob McKenzie, an executive at GameStop, the company has plenty of Wiis on their shelves for the first time in three years.

It's hard to say if there's finally enough Wiis to meet demand because Nintendo caught up or because of the recession. Regardless, it's good to know the console is there for your perusal should you want to purchase it.
