Nintendo Switch Weekly eShop Update: Party Hard
Nintendo has detailed another batch of games heading the eShop over the course of the next week, and there are some big titles coming to the Switch in particular. This week will see the release of Super Mario Party, which is the latest entry in a series that's been running for nearly 20 years. While probably not the best purchase for people who will be playing solo, Super Mario Party will likely become one of the go-to party games for Switch owners.Super Mario Party is notable in part because it returns the series to its roots. The car that moved all four players around the board in Mario Party 9 and Mario Party 10 is gone, and players are free to move around the board on their own once more. New features in this installment include player-specific dice that can be rolled instead of the traditional die that everyone has access to, along with a 2-vs-2 game mode with grid-based boards.
Also heading to the Nintendo Switch this week is Mark of the Ninja: Remastered, which is considered to be one of the best stealth games ever made. It'll be joined by Disgaea 1 Complete, which is launching in time for the 15th anniversary of the franchise. Once again, the Switch is the only platform receiving new games this week. Obviously, we're not expecting many new releases for the Wii U at this point, but the 3DS seems to be going through a little drought of its own. That'll be changing soon, as the original Luigi's Mansion is arriving on the platform later this month. Are there any releases you're particularly excited for this week? Head down to the comments section and let us know!
