Netflix's Daredevil Tipped To Feature Charlie Cox
Late last year, it was announced that a live-action series of Marvel Comic's Daredevil would be coming by way of Netflix. Who would play the super hero wasn't known at the time, but it seems a decision may have been made: Charlie Cox of Boardwalk Empire has been tipped for the role.
The information first surfaced from Latino Review. Following that, Variety has reported that it sources have confirmed the report, though an official confirmation from either Netflix or Marvel stills seems to be missing.
Daredevil made his big-screen appearance back in 2003, when Ben Affleck took on the role of blind super hero alongside Jennifer Garner. The Netflix series will reboot the character, offering "multiple original series of live-action adventures," and is set to release in 2015.
According to the original announcement, Netflix has signed up for at least four 13-episode series, the conclusion of which will be a finale called The Defenders, a mini-series that pulls in Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
